Free Blood Pressure Screenings

Blood pressure screenings are offered twice a month by volunteers.   We know that it is very important for all of our residents to have the opportunity to have their blood pressure monitored regularly.

Podiatrist

A qualified podiatrist visits our building every three months to provide services to our residents.  This is a wonderful opportunity for those who are unable to get out to doctors’ appointments easily.  The podiatrist bills Medicare and Medicaid for those who are eligible.

Hearing Aid Services

Local audiologists visit our facility on a monthly basis to provide free basic hearing screenings and consult on more extensive services to our residents.

Many more health issues are addressed at our regular resident seminars.  Recent topics have included Heart Disease, Diabetes Education, Eye Care and Eye Disease, Breast Cancer Awareness, Medicare Fraud and Abuse, Prescription Money Savers, Preventing Falls, Safety in the Home, Living Wills and Durable Powers of Attorney for Health Care, and many more.
