Eligibility Requirements

GCT is federally subsidized through the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) 202/8 Program. All residents must meet the following eligibility requirements:

• A single person who is 62 years of age or older;
• Families of two persons, the head of which is 62 years of age or older;
• One or more persons living together with another person who, as determined by HUD, (based on a licensed physician's certificate provided by the family), to be essential to their care or well-being

Disabled Person(s):

• A single person with mobility disabilities over the age of 18;
• Families of two persons the head of which (his or her spouse) is a person with mobility disabilities, needing the accessibility features of an architecturally-altered housing unit;
• Two or more persons with disabilities living together, or one or more such persons living with another person who is determined by HUD (based upon a licensed physician's certificate provided by the family), to be essential to their care or well-being.

Income Limits:

• Annual income for a single person must be under $54,000
• Annual income for two persons, must be under $61,700
